The AMLN Youth Leadership Exchange was established to address misconceptions and stereotypes that abound between people of the Arab world and the United States. Through our people-to people program, AMLN aims to build bridges of understanding and respect amongst a new generation of leaders. The AMLN Youth Leadership Exchange is one of AMLN’s flagship programs. It is an annual international exchange between Middle Eastern and American students to promote relationships built on trust, awareness, understanding and respect.
Our 2008 Syrian delegation has completed their experience in the United States and we want you to experience the journey! This page is dedicated to documenting their trip through pictures and narratives of the sights and sounds they encountered during their stay in New Jersey and New York. AMLN would like to sincerely thank everyone who made this journey possible, from Rutgers University to the tireless volunteers that gave so much of their time and resources.
